Professor Guo Laicheng — Chief Physician

Guo Laicheng — chief physician, professor. Graduated 1965 from the Department of Pediatrics, Beijing Second Medical College; received his MMed in 1982 from the Pediatrics Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He currently serves as Standing Council Member of the Chinese Pediatric Society, Standing Council Member of the Children's Health Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Standing Council Member of the Ningxia Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and Honorary President of the Ningxia Branch of the Chinese Pediatric Society. He has previously served as Deputy President of the Affiliated Hospital of Ningxia Medical College, Director of the Clinical Department of Ningxia Medical College, and Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Journal of Pediatrics — a pediatric specialist of joint Chinese-and-Western training.

Professor Guo specializes in pediatric respiratory and endocrine conditions, with marked results in children's respiratory infection, bronchitis, pneumonia, diarrhea, and the like.

He has published over fifty papers; representative works include TCM Treatment of Upper-Respiratory Infection in Infants and Young Children, Diagnosis and Treatment of Pediatric Empyema, TCM Treatment of Pediatric Spleen-Deficient Diarrhea. He has received the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Science-and-Technology Progress Award and Outstanding Paper Award several times.
