Prevention and Treatment of Breast Hyperplasia

2007-02-02 · cuiyueli.com (網站) · original by 王志強

In breast hyperplasia, after onset, a lump or nodule can be felt in the breast, tender to the touch. In more severe cases, riding a bicycle, walking, or working — vibrations reaching the affected area — bring on pain and discomfort. Menstrual or emotional fluctuation may trigger symptoms too. Long unresolved, it interferes with work, study, life — and harms physical and mental health.

The cause: most often during sleep or after long-fixed posture, with pressure on the breast. In the pressed spot, blood flow is impeded; qi-and-blood stagnation develops; the tissue changes form into a lump or nodule. Trauma is also on record. Such illness develops slowly; medication takes long, with unsatisfactory effect.

For breast hyperplasia diagnosed by hospital as non-malignant, TCM anmo (manual therapy) can ease and improve the condition. The touch must be light, only as much as the patient can bear; grasp and knead the lump, ease spasm so the lump softens and disperses; qi-and-blood flow freely; pain stops; function returns.

This method is safe, fast in effect, with no side effects. During treatment, the patient may also self-care: avoid long pressure on the breast in any position to prevent new injury; during menses, keep emotion settled. Breast hyperplasia can recover in a short time.
